Columbus Public Health’s Neighborhood Social Work Team addresses the social determinants of health that impact residents’ health and wellness. Staff works to assess needs, make connections to resources, and advocate for clients.
Neighborhood Social Work has a social worker available at the St. John Community Center every other Wednesday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (next session is May 17, 2023 and every two weeks after that).
The social worker is available in the Community Kitchen area (basement) of the St. John Community Center (640 S. Ohio Ave., Columbus).
