Diabetes Awareness Workshop (online)

Diabetes Awareness Workshop with LifeCare Alliance (taught on Zoom)
Thursday, July 23 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm

– Registered Dietitian with LifeCare Alliance will present helpful information regarding pre-diabetes, type 2, and type 1 diabetes
– Workshop content will include: how to manage diabetes, how to prevent the development of type 2 diabetes, physical activity that fits your life, food choices and meal planning, preventing health issues, the importance of taking prescribed medications, and new technology
– LifeCare Alliance’s Social Worker/Case Manager will briefly explain what to expect from an individual consultation with one of their dietitians and the simple referral process for a consult
